I have too many photographs on Flickr, over 82,000, but I do not publish nearly as many photos anymore. I am more diligent about picking only the best photos, but that still amounts to over a hundred on a good event day, like Pride, or a day at the beach watching volleyball.
Because of the shear quantity of photos, I get an average of more than 25,000 views a day on my entire collection, and I have over 4,000 followers that can get alerts when I publish a new photo.
This photograph, taken on my birthday June 24th, 2010, (only 4 months after my stroke) and posted a few days after that, has gotten 43,235 views all on its own, as of February 6th, 2016.
I prefer talking up, my talent as an artist, but I could not ever compete with my prolific voyeurism with my camera.
I use the term voyeurism, even though I know that term conjures up negative images in prudish minds, but I am an artist continually seeking my muse.
I am driven to capture beauty, even though with a camera I can only capture that which is skin deep.
But, I guess you can make up your own mind about how voyeuristic I really am.
I do tend to focus on handsome men, and some of the things that I like most about them.
But I do take a good photograph of girls, and women, occasionally.
